Data Analytic, Portfolio Management, and Research Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for conducting full life-cycle analysis to include requirements, activities (data collection, data modelling, data visualization, segmentation/prediction, and recommendation) and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities and also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Also responsible for conducting research (quantitative & qualitative) and portfolio management for marketing campaign and cross-selling/up-selling activities.

The Job

1. Research/Survey 

• Design research/survey/FGD preparation (e.g. respondent invitation or working together with vendor, create survey, create discussion guidelines, print the guideline, etc.)
• Conduct research/survey (e.g. blasting survey, discussion moderator, recording)
• Analyse survey data & prepare the result presentation/report (e.g. data cleansing process, get insights)
• Data analytics or research presentation/report

2. Data Analytic/Customer Insight 
• Getting business requirements
• Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs/initial problem for each business segment
• Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
• Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
• Data Analytics
• Use statistical methods to analyse data and generate useful business reports.
• Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Data Warehouse
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Reporting/Dashboard
• Prepare reports using business analytics reporting tools
• Data visualization in Power Point, Qlik-Sense or any BI tools, advance analytics (prediction, segmentation), including the recommendations.

3. Portfolio Management 
• Work closely with Customer Management team to create customer campaign/cross-selling/up-selling plan, data preparation, target segmentation, set tracking and deliver it to customer (e.g. email blast, SMS, push notification thru FWD MAX, other channels)
• Provide recommendation using data analytics and data tracking to target specific customer for cross-selling and up-selling activities, in collaboration within Marketing, Distribution and/or Product.
• Build data tracking to get insight from any customer campaign/cross-selling/up-selling for better modelling and predictions.
• Prepare report for every customer campaign/cross-selling/up-selling activities.

The Person

  • Field job experience in : Build data tracking to get insight from any customer campaign/cross-selling/up-selling for better modelling and predictions.
  • Strongly demonstrate behavior of customer oriented, teamwork/collaborations, result oriented, and strategic thinking
  • Insurance knowledge and Project Management would be advantage  
  • Advance in Microsoft Office
