FWD Insurance and Sayurbox donate 1,000 healthy packages to street vendors in Indonesia

Jakarta, 23 April 2021 – PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a pioneer of digital-based life insurance in Indonesia, invites customers and employees to donate FWD Box Berbagi of healthy foods through its #BeraniBerbagi programme during the month of Ramadan to show  gratitude and appreciation for 1,000 street vendors who continue to provide for their family amidst the pandemic to this programme is part of FWD’s #BebaskanLangkahBerani campaign to encourage people to celebrate living and be their own heroes.

FWD Insurance Director, Chief of Proposition & Sharia Ade Bungsu said, “The ongoing pandemic has forced us to adapt and change the way we live, including when it comes to health, and hygiene, and leading a healthier life. However, not everyone can access the right nutrition to lead ahealthy life. Therefore, we encourage our customers to spread kindness for others by sharing a FWD Box Berbagi of healthy and nutritious food.”

Customers can participate by purchasing one Asuransi Bebas Handal or FWD Cancer Protection product during Ramadan from 13 April to 16 May 2021. A cashback of 42% of the total contribution/premium paid by a customer will be converted into four FWD Box Berbagi consisting of healthy foods prepared by Sayurbox as the official partner for this campaign. This healthy package will be distributed to selected street vendors with a total target of 1,000 street vendors in Java and Bali.
