PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a customer-led digitally enabled life insurance company in Indonesia, introduces the campaign “Celebrates the Blessing of Ramadan with FWD Insurance”, offering various interactive, inspirational, and meaningful activities. These activities were introduced to the media during the breaking of the fast event with FWD Insurance held in Jakarta on March 19.
A 2024 Jakpat survey showed that 42% of Muslim respondents in Indonesia experienced increased expenses during Ramadan. The majority of these funds were used for food needs (79%) and various fasting-related necessities (71%). Additionally, four out of five respondents participated in zakat, infaq, and sedekah activities. This underscores the importance of financial literacy and financial planning and during Ramadan so that everyone can continue to appreciate every moment of the holy month.
Ade Bungsu, Director, Chief Syariah & Business Development Officer of FWD Insurance, stated in his speech to the media, “Ramadan is a joyful moment. We want to invite the community to celebrate living during Ramadan by presenting interesting programs and activities, so everyone can continue to celebrate their lives with happiness and, of course, remain protected.”
The “Celebrates the Blessing of Ramadan with FWD Insurance” campaign is focused on financial literacy, presented through the Tayangan Jemput Ilmu (“Ta’jil”) content on Instagram, the FWD Vodcast Bebaskan Langkah Bicarakan Perlindungan (Blak-Blakan) featuring guest speaker Husein Ja’far Al Hadar, also known as Habib Ja’far, on the FWD Insurance Indonesia YouTube channel, and community activities titled FWD Celebrates Ramadan with Community, featuring a running coach and nutritionist, held in Bekasi and Bogor.
FWD Insurance's commitment to providing protection was realized at the beginning of 2025. FWD Insurance updated the features of the FWD Whole Life Protection, a life insurance product and the FWD Hospital Care Protection, a health insurance product. These updates aim to respond to the needs of the Indonesian community for comprehensive health insurance and life insurance with benefits that can be enjoyed during retirement.

We are expanding the literacy target to students with disabilities through the Financial Inclusion and Education for Successful Thoughts and Actions (“FIESTA”) program. This is FWD Insurance's effort to provide equal opportunities in accessing essential financial knowledge for students with disabilities.”
