#UnstoppableSharing, Financial Education from FWD Life Indonesia

Storytelling on financial for more than 400 elementary school students

JAKARTA, 23 July 2015 – As part of the company's commitment to help improve the level of financial literacy in Indonesia, during the months of May to June 2015, FWD Life Indonesia ran a CSR program -  Bebas Berbagi. The activity #UnstoppableSharing provided financial education for more than 400 students from four elementary schools located around the Tangerang area. Believing that financial education should start at an early age, FWD Life Indonesia launched a campaign that focused on three key areas; earning, saving and giving.

Coinciding in the commemoration of National Children's Day, FWD Life Indonesia invited 16 students and 4 teachers as #UnstoppableSharing representatives from four elementary schools to join airport tours at Soekarno-Hatta International airport. The tour involved visits to various facilities; for example a look at how aircraft maintenance works at the airport. The students also met personnel of FWD Customer Service Mobile and visited the various facilities provided by FWD Life Indonesia including e-greeting and the newly launched device charging booths at Soekarno-Hatta airport.

The goal is to provide convenience for traveler’s during the Lebaran period and to also heighten awareness levels of the importance of insurance.


During the period May-June 2015, FWD Life Indonesia delivered an innovative financial education program to more than 400 students from four elementary schools in the Tangerang area. The #UnstoppableSharing activities promoted the sharing of knowledge about three main financial habits - earnings, saving and giving.

FWD Life Indonesia together with PT Angkasa Pura II and Garuda Indonesia invites the students to visit Garuda Sentra Operations (GSO) and Garuda Maintenance Facilities (GMF) to learn directly about the flight schedule arrangement as well as aircraft maintenance.
