Celebrating Insurance Day, FWD Life Holds “Bebas Berbagi” to Provide Financial Management Education for Young Enterprenuers

Bebas Berbagi Program Empowers Passionate Travel Community to Develop Sustainable Business

Jakarta, October 17 2015 – In conjunction with the National Insurance Day celebration, PT FWD Life Indonesia (“FWD Life”) is holding the “Bebas Berbagi” program to support the Financial Services Authority (OJK) goal to raise financial literacy in Indonesia. Partner up with TripTrus.com, FWD Life provides financial management education for young entrepreneurs on developing sustainable businesses.

FWD Life President Director Rudi Kamdani said, “Through the Bebas Berbagi program, FWD Life will prepare young entrepreneurs to meet competitive business challenges. We choose travel entrepreneurship because we believe that the travel business shows a great deal of in Indonesia, due to the high demand for inbound leisure travel, and the Indonesian government’s intense promotion of tourism. Furthermore, based on data from Ministry of Tourism, the tourism sector is currently the fourth largest contributor to the nation’s revenues.”

FWD Life is partnering with TripTrus.com as members of this community serve a fairly significant role in promoting Indonesia’s tourism sector, and because it’s aspirations are well-aligned with FWD Life’s #UnstoppableIndonesia campaign. A campaign to inspire and encourage Indonesian generation to embrace the insurance protection that will enable to liberate them in fulfilling their passion in life.

FWD Life Director & Chief Financial Officer Paul Kartono said that participants in the workshop will learn the importance of insurance for business continuity. “We are certain that the pursuit of passion in life and in work requires protection that allows us to freely reach our goals with protection against all risks,” said Paul.

The workshop features talks from experts in their respective fields such as a strategic brand consultant from DreamLab and a successful travelprenuer. In addition participants will also have the chance to win a business support worth of Rp 15-20 million and a free booth at the Indie Travel Mart, a public travel festival conducted in Jakarta on November 12-14, 2015.
